Egg Freezing
Women are increasingly considering freezing their eggs as a means of extending their reproductive lifespan. Mr Lower has been a vocal supporter of this, working alongside chosen IVF clinic partners to offer a bespoke, specialist service to his patients.
Surgery
Mr Lower has been at the forefront of many surgical advances throughout his career. He is one of only two surgeons in the UK recognised for their expertise with Asherman’s Syndrome. He has also developed particular expertise in dealing with uterine fibroids. He is also recognised for his experience in dealing with common conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis and congenital uterine abnormalities.
Women’s Health
Mr Lower sees many women for regular health checks, screening for cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and dealing with common gynaecological issues at various stages of his patients lives. He is expert in advising about fertility, period problems, contraception and menopausal issues. When problems arise that are not within his own skill set he is happy to refer to other colleagues with appropriate expertise for the benefit of his patients.

Medicolegal
Mr Lower has provided medicolegal reports for more than 15 years producing in excess of 75 reports during this time, of which around 25% have been for the defendant and 75% for the claimant. He complies with the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 (Revised 2009) and has undergone training in the principles of the test cases of Bolam, modified by Bolitho, Bailey, Hunter and Montgomery.
